• Conducts pre-start safety and sanitation inspections per instructions and records results.
  • Ensures all machine components are calibrated and operational for scheduled production runs including, but not limited to weigh scales, speed settings and date coder.
  • Selects, splices and threads packaging film and other supplies into machine to ensure continuous operation.
  • Conduct various quality control checks per instruction and executes mechanical adjustments to obtain proper parameters.

  • Identify and isolate out of specification finished goods
  • Write work orders for broken or unacceptable conditions
  • Keep work area neat and clean and perform preliminary clean-up of equipment at shutdown
  • Assists packers with their duties and provides training on packing policies, specifications and procedures
  • Follow GMP's, Food Safety Policies and Procedures

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum six months' experience in a Production capacity or related role with a manufacturing environment


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral instructions
  • Ability to make simple math calculations and measurements
  • Ability to use basic tools and make simple mechanical adjustments
  • Willingness to work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment
  • Willingness to work independently with minimum instructions
  • Willingness to work some weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to read and speak basic English
  • Adhere to all GMP Procedures
  • Maintain records and communicate and correct out of control conditions
  • Read and understand basic flow charts
  • Wear all required protective equipment
  • Obey all food and human safety rules and regulations
  • Comply with all company policies and regulations
